A new art therapy space has opened at a sanatorium in the Morshyn territorial community, where Ukrainian servicemen are undergoing rehabilitation following injuries.

The new facility is designed to complement physical rehabilitation by providing opportunities for creative activities, psychological relief, communication and emotional support.

A room that previously had a typical post-Soviet interior has been transformed into a functional creative space of approximately 60 m².
The facility includes three main areas:
a spacious pottery area equipped with three pottery wheels and a kiln;
a dedicated drawing and graphic arts area;
a relaxation area for working with metaphorical cards, art therapy activities, game-based therapy and informal communication.
The space also includes a small library and a screen for viewing educational materials and videos, while the interior has been fully renovated to provide a more comfortable and welcoming environment.

The Open Art Space project was implemented by the NGO Paterna with the support of Crown Agents Ukraine. It forms part of broader efforts to support the rehabilitation of servicemen in Morshyn and to create an environment where physical recovery is complemented by psychological support and creative practices.

Crown Agents Ukraine continues to support initiatives aimed at improving rehabilitation conditions for Ukrainian servicemen and promoting a more comprehensive approach to their recovery.
