Modern Medical Equipment Delivered to Bila Tserkva City Hospital No. 2 with Support from the Government of Japan

Bila Tserkva City Hospital No. 2 received a set of modern medical equipment under the Programme for Economic and Social Development, supported through grant assistance from the Government of Japan.

On 16 April, an official handover ceremony took place at Bila Tserkva City Hospital No. 2, where modern medical equipment procured through Japanese grant assistance to Ukraine was formally presented to the hospital.

The ceremony was attended by Masashi Nakagome, Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, and Edem Adamanov, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine.

The hospital received a set of high-tech medical equipment manufactured by Olympus, including:

  • video gastroscopes;

  • colonoscopes;

  • bronchoscopes;

  • processors;

  • HD monitors;

  • disinfection systems.

The new equipment strengthens the hospital’s capacity to provide modern endoscopic diagnostics and helps medical professionals detect diseases more quickly and accurately.

Importantly, the equipment is being delivered directly to regional healthcare facilities, where it can be used in everyday clinical practice and improve access to diagnostics and treatment closer to where patients live.

The equipment was provided under the Programme for Economic and Social Development, supported through grant assistance from the Government of Japan.
