Crown Agents Ukraine, together with Crown Agents Japan, the JICA Ukraine Office and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, is developing training infrastructure for humanitarian demining specialists under Phase 3 of Japan's Emergency Recovery Programme.

Crown Agents Ukraine, together with Crown Agents Japan and the JICA Ukraine Office, is supporting the development of training infrastructure for humanitarian demining specialists — one of the support areas under Japan's Grant Aid for the Emergency Recovery Programme (Phase 3).

The training complex is being built jointly with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) and includes training modules, accommodation, equipment storage, and administrative, utility and engineering facilities.

Part of the works has already been completed: modular covered training buildings have been fitted out, and sites have been prepared for covered training complexes, equipment storage hangars, accommodation buildings and a modular canteen.

Equipment already delivered or planned for delivery to support demining specialists includes:

  • a personnel transport bus

  • pyrotechnic vehicles of various types

  • minibuses

  • metal detectors

  • personal protective equipment sets

  • group and individual demining kits

  • a mechanized demining machine

Crown Agents Ukraine is responsible for procurement and logistics coordination for this project. The works are financed under Japan's Grant Aid for Ukraine's Emergency Recovery Programme.
