Through the special “Fluffy Touch” project organised by the Ukrainian Women’s Guard, pupils of Bucha Gymnasium received soft toys as symbols of care, warmth and support.
On 11 December, pupils of Bucha Gymnasium took part in the special “Fluffy Touch” project organised by the Ukrainian Women’s Guard.
As part of the initiative, children received soft toys intended to provide a small but meaningful sense of warmth, care and support.
The project was made possible through cooperation between several partners. British toy manufacturers provided the gifts, Pulse International LLC offered warehouse space and storage conditions, while the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine supported the initiative.
The project also continued beyond Bucha. Volunteers from the Ukrainian Women’s Guard packed around 5,000 soft toys for further distribution to children in the Kherson region.
Initiatives such as this have a simple but important purpose — to provide children affected by the war with tangible signs of care and attention.
Crown Agents Ukraine supports partnership initiatives aimed at assisting children and communities affected by the war and recognises the contribution of all organisations and volunteers involved in making the project possible.
